Grace and Peace and the Storm

How can we deal with the storms of life? We long for their end, but even when they do end, the clouds soon again form.

The grace of God provides the peace of God. It’s the kind of peace that allows one to find rest with Christ in the midst of the storm (Matthew 8:23-27), no matter how long the storm runs. Storms of life are a given. The storms produce perseverance, character, and finally hope (Romans 5:1-5). His rest is available to everyone who calls on Him (Romans 10:13).

His peace is real and far surpasses alcohol, drugs and anything else that men look to.
